Mission Statement

We take pride in providing international caliber horses for use as Hunter, Jumper, Dressage, and Equitation mounts for the discriminating rider. Selecting from a large pool of European contacts in both breeding and sport, we have the resources to find the perfect mount for each of our clients. Old Westbury Sport Horses selects top horses based on conformation, pedigree, movement, soundness, initial training and temperament. We are proud to offer our clients some of the best horses available today.

Code of Conduct

At Old Westbury Sport Horses we assure our clients that we have thoroughly investigated each and every horse that we purchase. We take great pride in "fully disclosing" our findings to our customers in advance, so our customers do not waste valuable time and money investigating un-sound horses.

Our investigations include full veterinary physical examinations, video taped flexion tests (Hi Def), Digital X-Rays (38 Shots), a full Gastro scope investigation with photos, and ultrasound exams where necessary. We make all of this information fully available online to our customers and their Veterinarians at any time upon request. This allows our customers to preview our findings before the customer brings in his/her Veterinarian at their own cost.

In almost every other business this type of Due Diligence is common practice!

However, as many of you know, in the Horse Business there is very little disclosure. You are on your own to discover the defects that exist. Buyer beware is the motto!

We do our very best to take as much mystery out of the process as possible.
